Introduction to Preserving 28th October


Learn the basics of preserving as we make chutney, jam and jelly on this full day course.  You’ll learn the principles of cooking both sweet and savoury preserves as we make a range of items such as: spiced fruit chutney, redcurrant jelly and raspberry jam (the exact products we make may change depending on seasonal availability of produce).

All materials and equipment are included and you will take home the products you’ve made during the day.  Suitable for beginners.

The course will be run by Alison, owner of Leeds’ based The Seasonal Larder– makers of handmade preserves.
