New artists, designers and makers at Fabrication Leeds As usual the first part of the year has been a busy one in terms of new sellers joining us in store. We know it can be hard to keep track of new additions, so we thought we’d introduce a few of them here:   Yorkshire More Yorkshire More is a social enterprise based in Leeds, making jams and chutneys in support of mental health.  We do this by engaging volunteers, many of whom are affected directly or indirectly by mental health difficulties, in the making, labelling and selling of the jams and chutneys. Summer is the time to think about introducing some new homes for wildlife into your garden. With loss of habitats as we build on more city fringes and farmers work the land more intensively gardens have become a vital space for wildlife. Art Matters is the new social enterprise run through People Matters, and funded by Leeds City Council. It consists of two groups of eight artists, who meet on a weekly basis to learn new techniques, develop business skills, express their personal style and ideas, and be part of a thriving creative environment. We had an event in October to launch our new enterprise, which was a part of the Love Arts 2012 festival. We also exhibited our artwork in the Light shopping centre for the festival, which gave us the opportunity to network with likeminded individuals and groups.
