A bit of a step away from my usual hearts – made out of clay! So for valentines (and a fun activity to do with my daughter at home) I thought we would try our hand at heart shaped cookies!!! . Fabrication Crafts secures National Lottery support to research the history of heritage crafts on Coney Street Fabrication Crafts is excited to announce that it has received a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of £9,700, for a heritage project researching and reinvigorating the heritage crafts that have been created and traded on Coney Street in York City Centre. Well, it has felt like an eternity since the fire that destroyed the Fabrication workshop over a year ago, but we’re very pleased to say that Fabrication2 has now launched and is open for business! So what is it?! Spread over 2 floors the workshop contains a textile floor, jewellery/metalwork/leatherwork/woodwork floor and a commercial kitchen.
