Want to learn how to needle-felt or to improve your skills?

Make a Spring themed picture in this fun and relaxing 2-hour workshop with established textile artist, Brenda Christison, from Felty and Fabulous. You will start by sketching your ideas and then learn 2D needle felting techniques to create a picture to take home. All equipment provided, including a selection of Spring flowers and scenes to inspire you and gorgeous wool colours to choose from. Beginners and those with experience welcome! Age 10+. Children to be accompanied by an adult.

This class will be held in Fabrication York at 32 Stonegate YO1 8AS

Access: The Fabrication shop has step access from the street.  The class area is located at the rear of the shop floor in a separate room.  Toilets are on the first floor and accessed via stairs only.

Sun 1st Dec 2 - 4pm Fri 13th Dec 10.30 - 12.30 This class will be held in Fabrication York at 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL Access: The Fabrication shop has level access to the street. The class area is on the first floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs (can potentially be moved into the shop area by request). Make your very own sheep in this fun and relaxing 2 hour workshop with Brenda Christison from  (4) Felty and Fabulous | Facebook You will learn 3D needle felting techniques and choose from a selection of wool to make your sheep ‘ewenique’!     Time To Be Creative - Bind Your Own Tome 12th May 2024: 10:30-17:30 (with a break for lunch) £80 a head. Maximum 6 participants. Hot drinks included. Suitable for beginners but some previous craft experience is helpful. All tools and materials provided. Whether your tastes are more are more cottage core or dark academia, this class will take you through making a fabulous notebook for you to take home. Includes a wide variety of fabrics and papers to choose from (and you are welcome to bring and include your own if useable), as well as the opportunity to incorporate 3D elements such as jewellery into your book. This class will be held in Anachronalia’s city centre workshop Fabrication2 venue at Hereford House, 6 Edward St, Leeds LS2 7NT There are plenty of local eateries to take your lunch in, or you can bring a packed lunch and sit in the workshop itself. Access: the workshop is on the first floor, accessed via a short flight of stairs to the ground floor, then a larger flight of stairs with handrail accessed via a fire door.
