£0.00Sustainable Fashion Workshop - Embroidery Has your favourite pair of jeans ripped? Do you want to learn how to patch up an item of clothing rather than buy new?s will teach you the embroidery skills needed. You just need to bring along your garment - patches, threads (refreshments?) and fun all supplied! Thanks to a grant from First Buses Fabrication Crafts on Coney Street have been running a number of free workshops showing participants how to upcycle, repair and enhance their clothing. Join us for a special York Fashion Week Event with Brenda from Felty and Fabulous The class is free but places are limited so must be booked in advance to take part Please note this event will beheld in our York Coney Street shop in the upstairs classroom space with no disabled access Weds 26th April 10.30-12.30

Join established textile artist, Brenda Christison, from Felty and Fabulous to learn how to add patches and stitches to breathe new life into your clothes. Bring along an item to fix (heavier weight items, such as denim will work best). Patches, threads, tuition and fun all provided! Age 10+. Children to be accompanied by an adult. Access: The Fabrication shop has step access from the street. The class area is located at the rear of the shop floor in a separate room. Toilets are on the first floor and accessed via stairs only.
