A multi-disciplinary exhibition which showcases Yorkshire.  From its colourful history to its beautiful coastline and anything in-between the exhibition celebrates Yorkshire based artists and how they choose to interpret this beautiful part of England.

Free Entry.  11.30 – 3.30 daily

To compliment this exhibition our studios will also be open to members of the public to see our range of artists at work including pastels, candle making and batik.

Our York exhibition space is situated on the first floor, accessibly via 2 flights of stairs, of the York Fabrication Retail space, 19 Coney St, York, YO1 9QL, within a 2 minute walk to buses and a 10 minute walk to car parks and to York Railway Station, surrounded by other independent shops, bars and restaurants and in the heart of York City Centre.

    Want to learn how to needle-felt? Or want to improve your skills?
    Make a small meadow scene in this fun and relaxing 2 hour workshop with Brenda Christison from Felty and Fabulous.
    You will learn the basic needle felting techniques and then create  a small landscape to take home. All equipment provided, including a selection of gorgeous wool colours to choose from.
    Beginners welcome! Age 10+. Children to be accompanied by an adult.

    Wednesday 7th June 10.30 - 12.30 This class will be held in Fabrication York at 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL Access: The Fabrication shop has level access to the street. The class area is on the first floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs (can potentially be moved into the shop area by request). Toilets are on the first floor and accessed via three sets of fire doors.

Do you want to learn how to patch up an item of clothing rather than buy new?s will teach you the embroidery skills needed. You just need to bring along your garment - patches, threads (refreshments?) and fun all supplied! Thanks to a grant from First Buses Fabrication Crafts on Coney Street have been running a number of free workshops showing participants how to upcycle, repair and enhance their clothing. Join us for a special York Fashion Week Event with Brenda from Felty and Fabulous The class is free but places are limited so must be booked in advance to take part Please note this event will beheld in our York Coney Street shop in the upstairs classroom space with no disabled access Weds 26th April 10.30-12.30

    Slow Fashion Darning and Embroidery Workshop join us for a special York Fashion Week Event Darning is an eco-friendly way to repair your clothes, helping them to avoid landfill and preserving a fabric you love. It is a low and therapeutic embroidery process that strengthens your clothes while adding a decorative element. You can either bring along something to mend or we can provide all the materials so that you can learn this hand embroidery technique. Thanks to a grant from First Buses Fabrication Crafts on Coney Street have been running a number of free workshops showing participants how to upcycle, repair and enhance their clothing. Saturday 29th April 11am to 1pm the workshop is free however prebooking is required to save a place This is held at our York Coney Street shop, on the 1st floor in our upstairs classroom space with no disabled access
