Suitable for beginners but some previous craft experience is helpful. All tools and materials provided.
Based on a 16th-Century book in the Vatican library, come make your own lay flat sketchbook, using only paper, card, needle, and thread. Along the way learn more about the types of books used by ordinary folk during the later medieval period for accounts, ledgers, and pocket notebooks.
This class will be held in Fabrication York at 19 Coney St, York YO1 9QL
Access: The Fabrication shop has level access to the street. The class area is on the first floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs (can potentially be moved into the shop area by request).
